1.What is Airiti Cited-by Service, and how does it benefit me?
The Airiti Cited-by Service is a service jointly launched by iPress and Airiti DOI Registration Center to provide citation information for iPress publishers and scholars. The Airiti DOI Calculation Center regularly compiles citation data and sends citation notifications to collaborating publishers and scholars on iPress. This service helps academics track the impact of their publications and articles based on citation data.
2.Where does the citation data come from?

The citation number provided by Airiti Cited-by Service are derived from the Airiti DOI Registration Center.

Every quarter, the center collects references from multiple databases, including Airiti Library, ACI Academic Citation Index, Airiti DOI, and Crossref, and calculates the number of citations for each iPress article.
3.How often will I receive cited-by notifications?

About once per quarter. The Airiti DOI Registration Center calculates citation data every quarter and sends out cited-by notifications to iPress users.

4.I am a publisher. How can I receive cited-by notifications?
※Requirements
  • If you are an iPress publisher and have registered an Airiti DOI, you will receive citation notifications for your publication.
  • Regardless of which version of iPress your publication uses, you can enjoy the Airiti Cited-by Service. Publishers using the paid version of iPress can even extend this service to their contributors, allowing them to track their article's impact after publication.
※How to enable?
  • Go to System admin > Cited by notification settings to enable/disable the service or update the email address to receive the notification.
5.I am a scholar. How can I receive cited-by notifications?
※Requirements
  • If you have submitted an article through iPress and are listed as the corresponding author, you will receive an email notification when your article is cited.
  • Currently, iPress has not yet provided cited-by notifications to co-authors of an article.
※How to enable?
  • Go to My Account > Preferences > Cited by notification setting to enable/disable the service.
